16 CommentsHappy Birthday to the Hive! My, how we've grown as a community in the last year. All the new friends I've made that I would never had met if we hadn't been blogging on the Hive is amazing. As I pondered the theme for this Hive Creative Challenge theme - Celebrate, my mind kept taking me on vacation.
Yes, when I CELEBRATE something, I want to dance on the beach. That's where my mind was dancing when this focal bead jumped right off my table and said "Pick me! Pick me!"
For my entry for The Hive Creative Challenge I want to introduce you to Dancing in the Tide.
When I'm on vacation, I'm celebrating! Celebrating freedom, celebrating expression, celebrating spending time with somebody that means the world to me!
The focal for this design reminds me of waves crashing against the shore. When the tide comes and flows out, it leaves behind small treasures... shells, creatures, seaweed, debris... or in the design of this necklace, itty bitty seed beads.
This necklace was designed in a random fashion. Just allowing my creativity to work within the colors of the focal bead to create the ebb and flow of the beach. What do you think? It just shouts Dancing in the Tide, doesn't it!

Dancing in the Tide
