Happy Monday to all. We hope your week is off to a fabulous start. We’d like to share one of our finest designers with you today: Cheri Wenger. Cheri has beautiful designs that you are going to love. We had a short chat with Cheri recently to find out more about the designer behind the beautiful designs:
MG: What are your favorite ways to find inspiration?
Cheri Wenger: Going on walks clears my mind and opens it up to the great visual inspiration around me. If weather keeps me indoors, just give me a stack of magazines and that is sure to spark some creative ideas.
MG: What is your favorite music?
Cheri Wenger: I love a variety of music, but usually top 40 music is my favorite…especially if it has a great dance beat. I am known to rock out in my car with the music cranked up loud. Try not to laugh!
MG: What is your favorite ice cream?
Cheri Wenger: A few favorites are Gold Medal Ribbon, Karmel Sutra, Quarter Back Crunch and Chocolate Therapy. Yummiest when there is chocolate or caramel in it!
MG: What is you favorite design in your own MG shop?
Cheri Wenger: It is hard to choose just one, but Bold Floral Brushes is a fave cause it has so many possibities. You can use the brush files to create or edit the eps files for even greater creativity.
MG: What kind of advice can you give to aspiring artists?
Cheri Wenger: Be Unique! Don’t try to fit a specific mold or style. Develop your own look and identity. Why would you want to do the same thing everyone else is doing?
