I decided when the call went out to try and challenge myself and do this swap..I love the cuter side of Halloween and it is an important celebration to me, as my Mom so loved the day and to dress up..she would almost always dress as a gyspy with a huge curly blonde wig and a very colorful full skirt and a bright blouse to march one of the colors in the skirt!! She was a hoot!! She was born on October 30, 1926 at 11:59 pm!! She always said she was a good witch!! So this year she would have been 85, so I knew I had to try this challenge, no matter how bad I am at making doll faces!! So here ya go:

Here is my card and following my doll made kind of based on this card...

I am sorry but I am afraid my photos did not come out great..I found a vintage Halloween fabric and used it to make her skirt and covered that with a orange tulle with embedded glitter. Inder her skirt is two very full tulle petticoats made with black and orange tulle. Her little top is made from a fleece with the glittter orgnce tulle as a bow. Her hat was made from a sparkle harded fleece and painted with a Plaid black metallic sparkle paint and glittered orange tulle bow added with a glittery spider in the center. Her legs and lower body were painted black with a Plaid enamel paint and her shoes are from a Ranger Distress Stickle glitter in spiced Marmalade. Her face is painted with brush paint pens..her hair is wool roving needlefelted to her head..the necklace is strung on wire and black beads with a couple of star beads.

Her kitty is made from black chenille stems and her pumpkin is hand made from polymer clay.

Sorry had a hard time getting a standing pic of her..she is about 20 inches from top of her hat to her feet.
I hope you like her..her name is Martha in honor of my Mom! Happy 85th Birthday and Happy Halloween Mom!!
Thanks for stopping by!!
Bless ya'll!!
