3 BEEutiful Things: Weekend Wonderment

Today we visited The US National Arboretum in Washington, D.C and was surprised by the  fragrant blooms, various pods, peppers and leaves,   These are only three amazing Autumn surprises...there were many more.

Enjoy natural surroundings, visit gardens, and drink in the color of Autumn wherever your go.

Margaret (wishing you a wonderful and relaxing weekend of wonderment)

Beautiful, love love the first picture.  Such an awesome color, what type of a plant/flower is that?  Sorta looks like it's in the mum family???

That little bonsai having it's "fall" moment is just precious.  A real gem.  Thanks for posting photos!

Thanks to all for the nice comments.  So glad your daughter got to visit there, Cindy.  Each season is very unique.  The first flower was taken along with a mix of flowers in the herb garden and I don't have an exact name for it.  The lavender plant is the  croquis that saffron is harvested from and the third is, as mentioned by Maureen an awesome bonsai tree having a fall moment :).  Sometimes I just get carried away by the color and forget to take a pic of the name and description of the plants - lol.
