A bouquet of flower projects you can make - tutorials, DIY & Inspiration

What is it about flowers that stir my soul?  I'm not typically a lacy, ribbons & hearts girl, but flowers I adore for some reason.  I've been running across some simply amazing tutorials, DIY projects and inspirational pieces lately and I wanted to share some of them with you...

Coffee Filter Flowers by Ulla M.  They are simply dreamy and inspirational.

button art

I just adore the simplicity and colors in this piece by Amanda Meaden.  It seems easy enough to make.  I might try it.

Pink Suede Shoe has this really easy to follow scrap flower tutorial.

flower button tutorial

This idea is from Cluck Cluck Sew and it's really easy to make.  Simply cut a bunch of circles in varying sizes, stack them up, add a button through the middle with a little embroidery floss and voila... you have an absoultely adorable flower.... way too easy and way too cute!

zipper flowers

Wolly Fabulous made these beautiful zipper flowers.  I love the color and the texture the zippers bring.  How clever!

felt flowers

by In the Hoop, these adorable felt flowes are quite catchy I think.  They appear to be easy enough to make too.  If you aren't sure, apparently there is a kit for them.

I hope you enjoyed the flowers I collected for you.  I can't wait to try some of these ideas out!

Why do you love flowers?  Someone once said, "The earth laughs in flowers."  That's why. :)
