I finally decided on what to do with the upper margin of my guest room/craft room. I knew I liked where my brown walls were stopping (I have nine foot ceilings and a seven 1/2 foot reach), so I had a couple of feet to plan the whatsit that was going to go on up top. My darling TV table was a perfect Robin's Egg blue, but alas I didn't have enough of that paint in the cache in my basement. I found a kind of smoky blue that I had gotten a couple of years ago (no idea why), and liked it for the trim and a couple pieces of furniture in the room.
This is where I started out this a.m.:
That's the little blue table.
So here is where I am now:
Question, would you paint this bureau? The top is in kind of rough shape, but it's solid. Do you see it in my new blue?
I still think I'll do one more thing to the horizon line on the walls, but I'm still trying to figure that out--I am contemplating how to illustrate my beads and sewing crafts on the walls...
But whatever the final answer is, I cannot wait to move in. Here's one reason why:
This is the view from the window. We have this same view in our living room, but we don't use it that often, but I would love to see this more than I do now!
I would love to hear suggestions on finishing this space. And then, if you would kindly come over and finish it; I would love that, too!
