I was inspired when I started pinterest by some felt flower artists. I LOVE flowers and just gazing as some of the lovely ones I was seeing made me want to just keep clicking and looking. Perhaps the most inspiring was this one ...
I looked at this bouquet and was very intimidated. Somewhere in my head though, I remembered that I used to do a lot of cross stitch. When I was very young, I did a lot of needlepoint (it was the 70s and I really wish I could remember all the stitches). I COULD do this....
I looked at a few more pinned photos that I had on my DIY flowers board.

Stuck in bed, John & Lily braved Joann's to bring home some felt & embroidery floss for me. I broke out my sizzix big shot, cut a bunch of flowers out of the felt and sat down to play....
My supplies: felt cut into flower shapes using my sizzix. I have multiple flower die cuts and I really just made a bunch of random ones figuring that I would use what I want, when I wanted.

I don't know if mine are as pretty as the ones in the first photo by Red Brolly, but I'm pretty pleased. I still have a ton of felt to make more, so I'll see what I come up with.....
To help... I found this on pinterest as well...
