9 CommentsDon't you just love vintage linens - all those tray cloths, anti maccassers, dressing table doilies, chair backs, napkins, table cloths and such like. Mostly we don't use these items anymore because our lives are too busy and full with other stuff. I have always respected the work that has gone into making them and hate the idea of them being discarded. So I use many of them in my work.
At the moment I am creating these little stump dolls that utilise these linens really well. The faces are free motion embroidery on the Bernina ( I love that technique)
