7 CommentsSome of you watched on Cool2Craft today where I talked about GROUPS. If you didn't get a chance to see it, then you may want to check out the recorded version. (I was the last presenter, but do watch the others because it was an amazing show). One of the things I only barely touched on was that when you post to groups, you should be sure that the blog makes sense in that group.
For example: If you are posting on the new scrapbook layout you created, don't post it in the Doll Makers group.
It is tempting to post to all of the groups that you belong to, but please don't! It will just confuse things later and make people 1) not want to post in that group 2) not be able to sift through all of the relevant blogs that belong in that group.
If you aren't sure if your post belongs in the group, read the group description provided by the group adminstrator. That should let you know what the group is for and whether your post is a fit.
That said, please USE THE GROUPS FEATURE! it's there so that as we grow, you can be found more easily by those who are interested in the types of things you do!
Group administrators: Please feel free to delete any posts that do not belong in your group. It will not delete them from anywhere other than your group! Also you may have noticed the bumbe bee highlighter in your groups (only group admin can see these), you can highlight featured posts inside of your group also! You can only highlight 5 at a time though.. the oldest ones will automatically fall down and the more recent ones float up.

I think it will give you a lot of information! also, please bee aware that I will begin cleaning out the New Bees section today. As our community grows, new members need to be able to find out how to navigate and other features. I have created a new community called Introduce Yourself - if you are new (or old) and want to say who you are or what you do... that's the place to do it!
