ALERT FOR NEW BEES GROUP - please stop.... !!

I appreciate that some of you are actually using the groups section BUT we need to make sure that you are posting your blogs in the appropriate groups. I did a blog about this recently to help you out. With so many new members, there are things that they need to be able to find and the New Bees group is where they do that. If you are not sharing a new group, technical fix, request for help, etc, please refrain from posting in the New Bees group!

I am deleting all non-new bee related posts anyway, so you'll just be saving me time and energy!!

hehe! I've only been once, when I started in here, to get help for bringing in my blog and to say hi! Is there other stuff happens in this group, that I'm missing out on? x

Yes, I see this in a lot of groups.

It will be most helpful for people to make sure they don't click on groups unrelated to what they are posting prior to hitting that post button :)

Faye - it's meant to bee the source of all that kinds of info - it's also great for announcing when new groups are added so people may find them when they first join, but once you are a pro in here, you'll probably never need to visit it!

I'm realizing I might have sounded grumpy there, it's just a little overwhelmed today and we get A LOT of technical help emails that could be found in the new bee group - but when there are so many emails to go through... they decide to just email us instead. Thanks all!!

I corrected the ones that are recent. Misunderstanding groups...thought that was a better way to share and get more exposure. I get it now.

Wonder Gal - It IS so you get more exposure.... but in the groups that make sense for your posts... like the crafting for charity is a place for all of your charity blogs and the alpaca blogs are great in the fiber arts groups, etc.... you can post to multiple groups at a time, but they should make sense for what you are posting!

I to am guilty for posting there. thought it was for exposer as well.... fixing right now. :::: sticking hand out to get slapped::: lol

Gabrielle - your blogs will import under whatever category that you have them set for and that is perfect. You can then add them to the appropriate groups by editing them and checking the box for the groups you want to add them to (must be a member of the group to add your blogs to it - so make sure to join the group first!).. This will help create additional exposure for your blogs. If you are ever unsure if your blog is a good fit for the group, read the group's description on the top right.

Erin - no slapping of hands here... =) just a friendly request to only post new groups and information that New Bees need to know. When everyone posts all their blogs in that group then new members can't find the info they need...

UPDATE: We have had to close the New Bees group from member posts. We received consistent complaints that new members could not locate the necessary information because it was clogged with non-new Bee related posts. They have been deleted and only admin may now post in this group. Sorry everyone!
