Who are your favorite artists and why do they inspire you?
Sheri Debow and Jaqui Gallant, they are amazing dollmakers. Their dolls show a great deal of expression and are inspired by events that have happened in their lives. My dolls came out of a depressing time of my life where they became my outlet. After meeting and talking with these two artists, it made me realize that doll making like any other art is a form of therapy. You get all of your bad feelings and emotions out and turn them into something beautiful.
