To all Potential Vendors,
We are happy to report on the new look to Craftshowcase.com. If you have not been to the site lately please check it out, and let us know what you think. We are also adding a vendor module. This will allow vendors to post their own photos, descriptions, set up their accounts and change pricing and product at anytime. You will also be able to put items on sale. This module is being written for Craftshowcase.com and will be done by the end of January.
We want every vendor to achieve their goals as a small business owner. That is why we are changing the way we charge vendors. The new structure will be effective immediately. Listing your items on Craftshowcase will be FREE. What we are doing is adding a 15% markup fee to all products. Example you want to make $10 on an item. The price you will see on the site will be $11.50. Once the item sells you will get $10 plus shipping that is collected. We will price the items to sell so if we feel 15% on higher priced items will make your item to expensive we may reduce the mark up fee.
We will also be paying the vendors the 15th and 30th of the month for items sold. Vendors in the United States will have two options for payment. One will be a check mailed; the other is put into your PayPal account. International vendors, all funds will be put in your PayPal account or ACH transfer to your business banking account (this includes Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii).
As Craftshowcase moves forward our advertising efforts will increase. Our goal is to become the largest virtual craft show online. As you can see by our efforts we are here to stay!
