Creative EdVentures is a network of crafty people offering live interactive webtv shows. You can watch them on the internet right from your computer.
We have a great lineup of shows at Creative EdVentures:
Monday nights at 9 pm Eastern (8 Central, 7 Mountain, 6 Pacific): In the Zone - a crafting party with Cynthia (Cyn) Gagen and Robi Cohen - craft demo's, fun chat, and crafty show and tell where you can show what you've been working on if you have a webcam. It's a friendly, casual atmosphere!
Wednesdays at noon Eastern (11 Central, 10 Mountain, 9 Pacific): In the Studio with Maria Nerius (currently on hiatus) - Maria has been in the crafting industry for over 20 years and she takes us into her working studio to discuss new products, show us what she's been working on, talk about the business side of being a crafter, and more.
Thursdays at noon Eastern (11 Central, 10 Mountain, 9 Pacific): In the Paintbox with Amanda Marks - Amanda shows us inexpensive and easy painting techniques. Yes you CAN paint!!!
Thursdays at midnight Eastern (11 pm Central, 10 Mountain, 9 Pacific): robi@nite - Robi Cohen has a fun informal show for you night owls! Crafting, chat, and talking about how health issues can affect our creativity along with sharing suggestions for keeping crafty despite them!
Fridays at 1 pm Eastern (Noon Central, 11 Mountain, 10 Pacific): We have a rotating schedule hosted by Cynthia Gagen: In the Season, all about seasonal celebrations big and small; In the Budget, sharing budget friendly crafting ideas; In the Home, focusing on making a house a home; In the Spirit, a look at spirituality that encompasses all religions as well as taking a secular look at bringing more spirit into your life; In the Kitchen, cooking!!! Each of these shows will incorporate related crafting demo's, lively chat, and more!
You don't need a cam to join us (although if you have one, we'd love to give you the chance to share what you've been working on too) - all you need is a computer with an internet connection and you're all set! You can sign in through an app on Facebook: http://apps.facebook.com/creativeedventures or if you prefer, you can sign in on the web: http://linqto.com/rooms/creativeedventures
Paul Peel - I love the soft, cozy feeling his paintings evoke.
Claudine Hellmuth - Her collages always make me think of my grandma. They have a retro feel to them and the colours are often colours I would see in Grandma's house. They're always so cheerful and happy and they make me smile.
Lucy Ogletree - a local folk artist - I have many of her prints hanging up in my house. I love the down home simple life kind of feel they have to them.
Suzi Blu - she has such a whimsical fantasy style that I love. I feel like she lives in some sort of play house, surrounded by bright colours, and oversized children's furniture. I think of fairies and mermaids and gypsies when I think of Suzi...all those things I dreamed about when I was a little girl, she brings back to life for me!
