I am a doll maker and soft sculpture artist also interested in drawing and painting, stitching, crochet, photography and fabrics. I live on a farm in beautiful Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
When I'm not doing artwork, I'm either writing or going to folk and celtic music shows.
What mediums do you prefer to work in?
I like to sew, especially making things that require hand-sewing. I have been a doll maker for 40 years.
I also like to draw and am dabbling in painting with acrylics.

Who are your favorite artists and why do they inspire you?
I like a variety of artists and styles and am inspired by Albrecht Durer, Dominique Ingres, Degas, Rodin, Kandinsky and Cezanne.
What gives you inspiration?
The older I get, the more I am delighted to find inspiration all around me. Maybe it will be a sleeping cat or the cover of some old sheet music, or a box of old toys. I just need to keep my eyes and my mind open.
