Fantasy artist, Valerie Ashley of Elysian Field Originals, known also as the “Leaf Lady” is a self-taught artist who has been communing with nature since she was a child. Imaginative, day dreamer, bohemian, with a deep connection to the forest has brought her to this moment in time where her art and nature have entwined to create what she affectionately calls Nature Spirits, a line of wearable art and ornamental pieces that reflect the spirit of nature.
Living in a woodland area of Rhode Island, USA with her five funky chickens, an adopted pug, and two feral furballs who have graciously adopted her, she now spends her time sculpting fantasy art, creating jewelry, and playing in the woods with her grandsons.
Her favorite holiday is Halloween and when she's not creating jewelry and sculpting miniatures you'll find her in her virtual pumpkin patch creating whimsical pieces.
