I work primarily in the mixed media and book arts, but have a deep thirst to try everything. I cut intricate traditional papercuttings (scherenschnitte), dye Ukrainian style eggs, draw, paint, bind books, alter anything in sight, and even created my own imaginary country (Albanlea) to write about and illustrate with my art. i spin, weave, knit, crochet, tat, make lucet cords, braid, weave baskets, quilt, sew, embroider, cross stitch, make various styles of lace, and make 1/12 scale miniatures. i do various styles of woodworking, including lathe turning and scrollsaw work.
