More Information

February is the month of all this "love". So come and enjoy your love of candles and other natural home fragrances. You'll be making candles, reed diffuser bases, and aromatherapy sprays - all formulated by you with essential oils. They are high-profit products that you can easily add to your product line. The products we are making in this workshop will make wonderful Valentine gifts (valued at $92)!

Have you wanted to learn how to make soy candles for yourself, to give as gifts, or to start your own line of soy candles to sell? Then this is the perfect class for you! Add warmth, fragrance and charm to your home with these soy candles. You'll also learn how to make natural home fragrance diffusers, aromatherapy sprays and sea salt crystals.

This workshop is taught by industry expert, Marla Bosworth. Although this class is intended for students of all levels (craft enthusiasts through entrepreneur), Marla will review industry trends, products, and untapped growth potential in this exciting market segment.

In this hands-on session students will custom-blend four fragrant products all made with pure, essential oils:

2 soy candles
2 home fragrance reed diffuser
2 pillow pack of fragranced sea salt crystals
2 aromatherapy spray

Price points will be discussed as well as beautiful packaging options. Students will receive recipes and a valuable supplier list.

This is a hands-on class. Among many things, we'll discuss in detail various container options and sources, soy waxes on the market, how to choose wicks, fragrance testing, coloring, determining whether your candle has the proper fragrance "throw" and labeling.
