Quiltworks NW, a specialty fabric store in Bellevue WA, is hosting Patricia Belyea of Okan Arts for a two-day trunk show. Patricia is showing a collection of over 150 different vintage yukata cottons, all imported from Japan.
This fabric was traditionally used for making lightweight summer kimonos. Hand-dyed indigo and white—some with additional colors—the cottons are from the 1960s and 70s.
