Just a little more. I am a mother of 2 amazing children with mad talents for getting what they want. My baby girl Arin is 9 and my son Christopher is 13. I married my high school sweetheart and best friend. They are my first priority. I have taught both of them to use their creative minds. My husband has a wonderfully creative mind also. It gets us into trouble! Thinking we can do anything, including rebuilding an entire house by ourselves.

I come from a mother who sewed clothing for my sister and I and two very creative grandmothers. At 40 years old it finally dawned on me that I am happiest when I am using my hands and creative mind. In the process, I have learned many skills. I love to sew, knit and crochet. I also have a huge scrapbook collection.

In 2010 I retired from the Cosmetologist buisness of 25 years to stay home with my children and start my own small handmade buisness. I have designed bags, purses and sewn for a national company. After retiring from the Cosmetology buisness, I found myself wanting to stay close to the beauty buisness. I missed the salon atmosphere! I couldnt believe it, but I did. That is when I decided to start creating bridal hair accessories. It gave me the best of both worlds. Three months later I started FancieStrands.
