When founder Suzanne Urban first conceptualized a group for holiday-theme artists and artisans to join, she visualized it as a pro-active group of talented artists; her visualization manifested. Started three years ago as "ahao" or American Holiday Artists Ornaments, a group on eBay and Etsy of juried artists who create holiday ornaments all year round. The member artists and her co-leaders, Susan Vanderhoek and Sheryl Parsons soon convinced Suzanne to open up the group to include all holiday and seasonal theme art-not just ornaments- and the three haven't looked back since. The group doesn't just feature the artist's work, but also acts as a support group offering feedback, challenges, marketing information and show information and general support to the members.
