I'm a family girl with a husband and 4 lovely girls. I've been creating art all my life. I'm always looking for a new technique to try or a challenge to help me grow as an artist.

What mediums do you prefer to work in?
I have a passion for polymer clay and have been working with it for 16 years. I started using inks and stamps as surface treatments for clay, which led to paper. Paper led to collage, which let to fibers and assemblages. And polymer clay completed the circle.
Who are your favorite artists and why do they inspire you?
I would say that Georgia O'Keefe would be one of my favorites along with Henri Matisse because of their outstanding use of color, and I also love the detail in Gusta Klimt's work. Klimt's patterns are so much fun to produce in clay and seed beads.
What gives you inspiration?
When I see color combinations in nature I'm inspired to use them in my jewelry. I particularly like going to the aquarium to look at the fish. I'm always inspired by their beautiful colors. I also look at textures and how I can use them in my work.
