One of my Steampunk Witches hatsMy My name is Kat Hazelton but most people know me as Kat the hat lady. I love my hobby making miniature witches and period hats. I am a member of several art groups including AIM artists in miniatures.I also sometimes write for miniature magazines such as Dolls House World, Dolls House and Miniature Scene and now American Miniaturist. I have a little shop on Etsy and also have a blog site where I share my love of all things historical and witchy!

Personal note, I love all things Gothic, I love Rachael Huntingtons art work and have two tattoo's by her. I love Tim Burton's films, The Damned, and when I can attend The Whitby Goth Festival and love shopping in Camden Town!


What are your favorite hobbies?
Well apart from making my miniature hats, I love studying millinery and period costume. I love anything Gothic, films, books, and attend Gothic and historical fairs.
Who are your favorite artists and why do they inspire you?
Too many to mention, I love Nikki's Rowes work she makes wonderful miniature Witch and wizard miniatures.I also love Afterdark miniatures,Debie(Piskies and Poppets),SpookyTimeJingles .I also love Lory's work she makes wonderful tiny tea pots and fairy bowls. A lot of my favourite artist have shops on Etsy and also members of my blog. They all inspire me they are all very dedicated to making the best creations they can and are never afraid to try some thing new. And whats even more wonderful is they are happy to share information on how to create their creations with other artists.Something which is quite rare in this day and age!
