"Illustration has always been my dream. To be able to bring life to characters, create a visual story where there once was nothing but a bare page, it's an incredible process to experience and enjoy."
Living a creative lifestyle - it is extremely rewarding one minute and disheartening the next. Having a thick skin helps, but surrounding yourself with encouraging people and treating oneself to daily doses of inspiration, tends to minimize the bruised ego.
When I am not in the studio creating an illustration or completing a design project, then I am probably folding laundry or shuttling my children to their various activities. Creative time is also spent happily painting at my easel, creating jewelry or blogging. Even on my busiest day, I wouldn't change a thing... well except sleep, I would love to be able to function on less sleep so that I would have more time to spend in the studio. ;)
