Hi!
My name is Luzmina Jalil, from Colón, Panamá. I'm a work at home mom, of 2 kids and one cat.
My studio has been sited in a corner at my living room, that's why I call my business blog Luzmina's Corner ;)
The people of my country is colorful and enthusiastic, and I suppose that's what isnpired me all the time to create my dolls and eco-jewerly...Also, have to mention the nature, traditions and customes.. well, I try to represent them as much as I can. Hope you enjoy them through my work. ;)

What mediums do you prefer to work in?
Cloth, felt, wood and recycled materials.
Who are your favorite artists and why do they inspire you?
Laly Tapia: she is a very talented dollmaker, who inspired me years ago to keep growing as an artist.
Also, need to mention the great community Cloth Doll Artistry, with all those great artists: doll makers and designers. They all has inspired me so much to keep learning with a lot of new materials and ideas.
and recently Erica Miller: she is an expert and has captured the scent of our folk art. I really enjoy her work.

What gives you inspiration?
The folk art, customes, traditions, the different ethnics living in Panamá and the natural beauty from my country.
