Hobbyist Profile

It is impossible to pick just one hobby since they all look like so much fun I usually can't resist and this is why my space looks like a mini-craft store. My main interests are definitely jewelry making (you'll see my employer Cousin is in the manufacturer category here)and good old drawing with pencil and paper. I have 2 small children so kids' crafts are really big around here too.

I can't think of an artist that doesn't inspire me. All art whether I consider it good or bad is food for thought and almost always helps to define my own perspective. My favorite artists right now are old school Renaissance painters. Pretty obvious choice, but with today's technology it makes me appreciate their talent and vision in a time of such basic tools and techniques.

I want to hear the Buzz! I'm sure I'm not the first to say that right? I'm here as an industry insider to share news from Cousin as well as add my personal perspective on what's happening with jewelry making in particular. I'm also really excited to take a look around at what everyone else is doing and join some group discussion. This is a great resource to connect with the crafting community so I'm ready to explore and contribute!
