Hi I am Wendy Walker and I started to make bears in 1994. I have literally made thousands of bears and I am completely self taught.
My favourite size bears and critters are 1 to 4 inches tall. The 1 inch bears are often used as doll house bears in 1/12th scale.
Many of my critters have found there way overseas and even send me a photo of their new home and family.
I still get excited when I see a new little face looking back at me!

Who are your favorite artists and why do they inspire you?
Loris Hancock - she had the time to talk to me and encourage my miniature bears. Her critters are always ahead of everyone else!
