I am a mother of 4 and grandmother to 2 great children. I am married and live outside of Charlotte, North Carolina.
What mediums do you prefer to work in?
I paint in oils and prefer using Rembrandt, Gamblin, and Windsor & Newton. I also sew, making clothes and toys for my children and grandchildren and love working with decorator cottons, felt, flannel, and wool. I quilt and love decorator cottons for quilting made with Essential thread from ConnectingThreads.com. I Sew, Quilt, and Embroider on a Pfaff 2124 sewing machine.
What gives you inspiration?
So many things gives me inspiration! I can look in a catalog, magazine, or book and find inspiration. I find inspiration in everyday things. My family and friends who share my creative passion for sewing, quilting, and painting are my greatest inspiration.
