I am a full-time High School teacher, working with at-risk students. I am also engaged in art processes daily: here in my home studio as well as with my art students at school.

What mediums do you prefer to work in?
I love to work with paper. Pretty much any kind, any where, any way! I love to cut paper, paint on it, stamp on it, stencil on it, glue on it, embellish it, stitch it, ink on it, write on it, blah, blah, blah.
Who are your favorite artists and why do they inspire you?
Tough question! Andy Warhol, Georgia O'Keefe, Robert Rauschenberg, John Baldessari, Joseph Cornell, Marcel DuChamp, Jesse Reno, Kurt Schwitters, Joni Mitchell, Paul McCartney, and others yet to be discovered I'm sure. I enjoy artists that show commitment to their work as well as authenticity in their work. I also like art that is unexpected and artists who continue to produce and grow artistically over time.
