What mediums do you prefer to work in?
Acrylics and gouache for painting. Fabric, fibers and beads for designing
Who are your favorite artists and why do they inspire you?
Matisse especially, Monet and most of the Impressionists, Raoul Dufy, Alphonse Mucha and William Morris. I love color and the style of these artists. I love the Art Nouveau style influenced by Mucha and the influence on textiles by William Morris.
What gives you inspiration?
Color, flowers and trees, animals and humor. I use vibrant colors in my art and designs and paint with a whimsy style.
