I am 46, with no children, but I am an aunt to 4 uniquely different children.   When  I am not spending to time scrapbooking, cards making, or making other crafts, I am spending time with family and friends.  I have a wonder church that I attend, where I am on the youth advisory board, and recently became the church admin councel secretary (what the heck have I gotten into, LOL).   I am also in a choir at church, and we do all sorts of things with each other.

As for scrapbooking, I do not remember how I got into it, except looking back at my earliest scrapbook (Cira 1981), I already had the knack for arranging photos in a unique way, then journalling about each person, and telling a story.  Scrapbooking was not very popular back then.   Fast forward to 1995, and I got bitten again, this time for good.   My first scrapbook was my oldest nephew's, and he is now 15 years old.   I have also done my middle nephew's book, and I am currently working on my neice's and my youngest nephew's books.   I started card making about 1998, and Journal making last year (2010).

I am slowly getting a business together, although I did not realized that it takes lot's of time and money.   While in the process of doing that, i am also a independent Home consultant with The Longaberger Company, which makes and sells baskets, pottery, wrought iron, and other home accessories.   I love doing both.

If you have questions about anything, please let me know.

Tricia

What are your favorite hobbies?
I like to scrapbook, make cards, play my keyboard, dance, be with family and friends, cook, learning new things.
Who are your favorite artists and why do they inspire you?
I like Tim Holz, and Heidi Grace. The reason why I like Tim because he shows the old fashion side of paper and accessories. For Heidi Grace, she is one of th girly girls who idn't over the top with it.
What brings you to The Hive?  What can we help you with?
I stumbled onto this site from facebook. I was on the fan page of scrap N Tote when I saw a comment made by the Hive. I would like to get my blog listed for more traffic, and to show my work.
