I'm a part-time English professor whose creative outlets are taking over, and I'm okay with that. I make jewelry, hand-made cards, the occasional chotchky, and decoupage is major fun.
I am a long-time craftaholic, working primarily in paper until recently. I make greeting cards, and will gladly accept custom requests. I discovered beading in late 2008, and have enjoyed learning new techniques. Earrings are a favorite, although I am working on creating larger and more intricate pieces. I work primarily with base metal, which has a wide variety of color and texture, using chain and sometimes creating my own links. I love the variety I have in working with beads, and utilize glass, lampwork, and metal components.
I just recently started learning bead weaving, and have found a new passion! I love the variety available in the realm of bead-weaving, the different stitches, and how the slightest happy accident can change the entire flavor of a piece.
