In March, 2009, I started a podcast about quilting on a whim, and just for fun, and in honor and memory of my Mom who taught me to quilt in the first place.  It's entitled, "Quilting...for the Rest of Us." My lead-in is that I am not an expert--I've never published, shown, or taught. I just love to quilt.  To be honest, I had no expectations when I started. I hadn't thought that far ahead. So imagine my surprise that people actually started listening! It has become ever so much more than I even began to conceive that it would. I've "met" so many great, interesting people in my listeners, and received some wonderful support and advice. It does actually feel like it's become a community. It's been so much fun!
