A bit about me.
I am a maker/ artist who mainly uses textiles in her art work. I have a passion for designing and making one of a kind dolls - not the play things but Art Dolls to be admired and collected. I am also a collector of interesting objects and lots of textiley items. Handbags, and purses, head scarves ( I love the graphics on them) , lace , embroidery, printed fabric - you name it and I have it !
I use lots of antique and vintage fabrics in my machine embroidery and other textile work. I am a textiles historian so use my collections for teaching college students about textiles.
I love working with paper and enjoy making altered books and journals.
As well as teaching at the college in Milton Keynes I also enjoy giving lectures and doing workshops for Embroiderers and Quilters Guilds.
