New Stamps means NEW Tags and Goodies...
I've been DYING to play with some new stamps I got, but the custom orders kept rolling in so these new stamps took a backseat to my customers :) It just made it more exciting when it was time to play, that's all....

Here a few new tags that I have on my website.... They will be slowly rolling into my etsy shop...
(I always add new items to my website first, then etsy, in case you want something immediately)

Vintage Train Tags.... Or Locomotive.... I had to use the red and white baker's twine on these!
It somehow reminded me of an engineer's cap with the stripes :)

And I think these are so darling! Perfect for a wedding....

I still have so many stamps to get to that I haven't yet!!! OH NO!!!! LOL :)

Vintage Scans....
New Goodies!
Well, I was at a thrift shop recently and found  some cards, all for 25 cents... I thought they would be fun to add to my ephemera collection and would also make fun and pretty scans for you guys to print and play with too! I've cleaned them up a bit, enhanced the colors to where they should be and now they're all ready for you!!! I've also "isolated" a few pretty pieces or elements of the cards...

First we have a baby card.... This one is pink... But there will be a blue one! :)

And here are a few other colors as well, that I have created using the above card...
See the blue one too :)

Then this is the inside of the card.... So pretty and delicate!

Here is another one.... It says In Deepest Sympathy, but I think it would also look pretty (as done below) without the sentiment part, for a wedding card... It looks like a chapel and then the yellow roses...

This one is so pretty too, I love the color of the roses and how they surround the bible....

The front of this card didn't make it.... :( Someone tucked it inside the envelope and the adhesive/gum from the envelope tore the card... However, the inside was still a lot of fun as well, so I figured I would scan this one too! The front of the card says "Being sick is like bowling...." in case you need some inspiration for this one....

Here's another one, this one is a birthday card.... It has a globe and a few other things, like books, etc.

This is the inside of the card... I love the old text... That would be cute to isolate and print for another card...

Now here are a few elements...

.

here is the card that I mentioned above that would also look pretty as a wedding card.
I removed the Sympathy part....

Then here are just the roses as a border... Pretty to trim around, use double sided adhesive foam, and use on the front of a card or a layout, at the bottom....

Then here are the roses with the bible....

Here's the cute little bowling pin...

The book from the baby's card...

The globe....

The book, tin and pipe...

And here are a few other random elements...

have a great night! XOXO

My New Adventure with Goodsmiths....

Well, I signed up to be alerted when Goodsmith's was up and running and it finally came through. Then they were only accepting Dwolla, so I waited a little longer because they said they were waiting for PayPal to approve them. Well, PayPal finally came through and now I set up a little shop on Goodsmiths just to check it out... Let me tell you about my experience....

Well, So far I like it... Really easy to set up... And it's pretty much just like setting up on etsy... So I am pretty positive... Now I know computers make glitches, but here are the things that I had a little trouble with....

1. Import Tool....
Well, I had trouble with the import tool. I have at the time 192 items in my etsy shop. When I imported them to goodsmiths, only 98 were imported. However, that could also be because of the file that I downloaded from Etsy. You have to download a CSV file from etsy and then upload it to Goodsmiths....

2. Shipping....
Where as you can save your shipping profiles on etsy, you can't do so with Goodsmiths. And another drawback was that I can't offer combined shipping easily on Goodsmiths, which means I will have to go back and refund customers who purchase more than one item... That's kinda stinky. However, I am sure Goodsmith's is working on this (hoping) and since they are only in Beta mode with a "soft launch", they just haven't gotten there yet.

Here are a few awesome points...
1. It costs NOTHING to list on Goodsmiths... And it's only 2% if your item sells rather than 3.5% like others...

2. Easy and simple to list items...

Here's a screenshot of when I go to the Goodsmith's home page....

I definitely recommend it and think it's worth checking out....

And if you want to check it out, here's the link again.... https://www.goodsmiths.com
And if you want to see my shop on Goodsmiths, https://www.goodsmiths.com/sweetly-scrapped

I am going to change a few things on my appearance and fine tune it, but I thought I would try it first before I went all "crazy" designing and changing things (banners, etc).

Hope everyone is having an amazing Mother's Day too!!! XOXOXOOXO
I know I did!

DIY Goodie Bags
Well tonight, I was looking through pinterest and I saw this goodie bag where you emboss them. Very cute. However, I only had lunch sized bags and it wasn't working with my sizzix. So I decided I would improvise. I already had everything out. Well, here's my little photo tutorial on it all..... I hope you like and I'm sure you'll come up with your own style and twist as well.....

First I got out my embossing folders....

Then I got together my paper bags....

Then I folded the bottom flap down so they touched eachother so I can cut JUST the bottoms....

This is how I cut....

So then I am left with this to cut off....

So Now I have two....

So now we are going to take one of them.....

Now choose your tape....

And now just tape the bottom of your bag...

Then fold it up to the other side....

Then trim the edges....

Then I took my scalloped punch for detail...

So it now looks like this...

I then place this in my embossing folder....

Then I put it in my Sizzix... and now I have this....

Like I said, I'm sure you'll be able to put your own twist on this also and I hope you do!
Hope you are having a great weekend! And Happy Mother's Day to you Mommies of ALL ages!!!!

XOXOXOOX
