About Me
I am a doll artist who loves to do prims, halloween and christmas dollies. I work mainly with cloth, but have used other mediums from paper clay to porcelain.

I have done all sorts of crafts and dolls over the years. I had my own porcelain doll studio and then got interested in art/cloth dolls. I am just now getting back into creating dolls. I plan on having a web site and a blog by the end of the year. Sometimes I use patterns and sometimes I create my own visions. I like the patterns to learn techniques and to forece me to do things I have not tried before. I love the thrill of how a piece evolves and seems to talk to me as it is progressing as to what it wants to be.
What mediums do you prefer to work in?
mainly cloth, but use to do porcelain. Lately I have been working with paper clay. I also like to work with oils and acrylic on my dolls. Love to do eyes.
Who are your favorite artists and why do they inspire you?
I like Joyce Stahl, Maureen Mills, also EPB for her use of color and creativity of her dolls, Jill Maas, Jane DeRosier, Susan Fosnot
What gives you inspiration?
Fall and winter are my favorite seasons. Color inspires me also. I love character and movement in dolls and art work. I do lots of doodles, sometimes they work in to an idea, sometimes they don't.
