What mediums do you prefer to work in?
Gemstones, naturals stones and pearls. Mixed metals and mixed media. Found objects.
Who are your favorite artists and why do they inspire you?
Heather Powers - Humblebeads - she has an amazing eye for detail and a style that is all her own. Her art beads are whimsical and pretty. She is a great business woman and friend.
Kerry Bogert - KAB's Concepts - she is extremely talented with glass. She knows how to play with color in combinations that are interesting and lively.
Melanie Brooks - Earthenwood Studio - she is inventive in her components and always seems to be just on the cusp of the new trend. I love her inspirations and the way her components convey a story.

What gives you inspiration?
Everything! Inspiration is everywhere. I am inspired by color and light and movement. I love music and poetry. I think that our natural world provides us with a palette and forms that are stunning.
