I've been sewing/creating since I was big enough for my Mother to let me cut out her patterns, not a small feat as she is a full fledged obsessive compulsive perfectionist! :)
I really didn't come into my own style of sewing until I was in my 20's and left home, and refused to follow the rules that my poor horrified Mother rigidly adhered to!
30 years later she's still horrified! LOL

What mediums do you prefer to work in?
My first favorite is fabric! Manipulated, painted, ripped, embroidered, appliqued, dyed...you name it, I've tried it!

What gives you inspiration?
Everything! I have too much inspiration! I need more hours in the day. LOL
