I am drawn to fiber and textiles for their natural simplicity. The art of spinning fiber into yarn and turning yarn or thread into a textile is an amazing and satisfying craft. The rhymthic throwing of the shuttle lulls a busy mind, and peace is created along with the cloth.
What mediums do you prefer to work in?
I prefer to work with natural fibers: all types of wool, cotton, linen, and silk.
What gives you inspiration?
I find my inspiration, especially color combinations, comes from nature.
