Here it is Barney-Style: Artists across the country produce some of the most beautiful and exciting media; and more often than not their efforts are rarely seen by anybody but a select few of their closest friends and family.
Honestly, we don't know many artists who have these resources available, much less the funds to be able to tap into them. Because of that, many artists are not able to profit from their efforts and end up abandoning their passion in favor of more traditional nine to five j-o-bs.
We’ve teamed up and created a way for all you brilliant (yet still starving) artists to get your artwork off the shelves and into the marketplace.
Here’s what we did:
We created an interactive website, kind of like a secure art gallery accessible from the comfort of your own home, for you to showcase your talents. We help you market your works by linking to all your social networks, email lists, friends, family and the public…
After that we added products to the line-up. While we recognize that selling your original artwork is valuable, we know that it is so much cooler to actually SEE your artwork around town…like on t-shirts, your insurance agent’s coffee mug, beach tote bags etc. So we put those items on your site for people to customize with your artwork…and you make money on each sale. This eliminates your upfront cost – because you don’t have any!
Now anyone who visits your site can choose a piece of your artwork, print it on any one of our Yellow Llama product platforms and show it off to the world.
Just imagine the project you did for an art class can now be a sweat suit, a T-shirt, coffee mug, mouse pad, a coaster, clock face or a wall hanging that any member of your family, friends or social network can select from your catalog of images.
How You Make $$$ on Your Artwork:
Here’s the split: 95% Us/5% You. JUST KIDDING! We’re not here to rip you off. Any revenue from images selected for purchase on your public/private gallery will be split with you at a 65% You/35% Us ratio. You can hug us later!
Here’s the split on a Premium Gallery: 70% You/30% Us.
So, the money here is made on your image. There are no products involved, image only…you pickin’ up what I’m layin’ down?
How You Make $$$ on Your Artwork Printed on Our Stuff:
Commissions on product sold through www.yellowllama.com are calculated at a rate of 5% of the published product price only. Commissions are not paid on the portion of the sale that is attributable to art, shipping or taxes. Get it?
This is a lot to remember, which is why we wrote it down here so we could just let you read it...but if you have any questions at all just call us or stop by. We don't bite and we try not to spit...get it, we're Llama's. (This is where you laugh at our cheezy joke.)
Never before has it been this easy to turn your artistic work into income. You're doing the work anyway, why not get paid for it? Supplement your car note, pay for school books, make the shortfall on this months’ rent, or buy new art supplies to continue producing great new works! But beware of our "competitors." They retain rights to your images...not good.
